When to consider psychotherapy
Therapy provides time to explore anxiety, low mood, emotional patterns, relationship difficulties or life changes. You can discuss your goals even if you are unsure which therapy approach might suit you.
Anxiety and low mood
Relationship or life transitions
Emotional regulation
Trauma-related difficulties
How the appointment is planned
The first sessions explore your concerns, what you would like to change and how difficulties show up in everyday situations. The therapist discusses a suitable approach, such as CBT, DBT-informed or relational work, and agrees on goals with you. The pace and continuing plan are reviewed together.
